Licensed Professional Mechanical and Electrical Engineer and Project Manager
Job requires the skills listed for Senior Mechanical Engineer above and a minimum of 10 years experience in the design and supervisory engineering of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and Fire Protection systems. Candidate should also possess an experienced background in project management, including MEP coordination, project completion and good communication skills with clients. Potential for upward mobility unlimited. 

Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

This position requires 5 years experience under the direct supervision of a professional mechanical engineer. You will function as a project engineer and/or project manager on a variety of HVAC and building automation and control systems. The position also requires knowledge of industrial process support and telecom infrastructure support systems, energy audit/analysis, and life cycle cost economic analysis. As a project engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, concept development, design calculations, specifications, layout and production management, construction administration and commissioning. As a project manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, budget and schedule control , client liaison, and quality control/assurance. Candidates must possess experience which includes design for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection sprinkler, AutoCAD design, specification/report writing and cost estimating. BSME required, P.E. a plus. 

Mechanical Engineer – Designer
This is an entry level job opportunity. In this position you will function as a junior project engineer for a variety of HVAC design and building automation control systems. The position requires a genuine interest in learning the correct (detailed) method to design mechanical systems. The position also requires the use of AutoCAD in preparation of construction plan documents. Job satisfaction is learning something on a daily basis and seeing your design work built by contractors in the field. You will work directly for a professional engineer. Further learning towards Professional Registration is encouraged and rewarded.

AutoCAD Technician (3-D)
Candidate will assist in production of mechanical (HVAC) construction document plans for commercial and institutional bui lding projects. This is an excellent opportunity for growth. Any MEP design experience a plus. EOE

Electrical Engineer – Designer
This job is for beginning Electrical Power Engineer interested in learning power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm for commercial, institutional, and renovation construction projects. While not required, it is strongly desired the candidate hold an Engineering Intern (EI) certificate and have a strong, sincere interest in obtaining his/her registration as a Professional Engineer, (PE). The successful candidate must be willing and able to utilize AutoCAD as a tool for the preparation of building plan documents. The candidate will learn over time how to assemble construction document packages consisting of plans and specifications for construction of electrical systems for large buildings. The candidate will learn to coordinate and work closely with firm clients. Therefore, the candidate must also command strong writing and oral communications skills. EMx Corporation provides consulting engineering services to the commercial development, municipal and governmental construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the consulting engineering business while on-track to obtain Professional Engineering registration.
